I am a Mobile Viking, and I am proud of that!
Yesterday, Steven van Belleghem presented his new book ‘The Conversation Company’.
Because of that, Mobile Vikings, Mobile Internet Operator, give away a signed copy to one of their customers. Customers have to send in the reason why they are proud to be a Mobile Viking. The most original will win the book.

This is what I wrote down:
A close group of men, women, youngsters, but even granddads and grandmums. Ready to board their Drakkars. Not to conquer the world by using violence, but to spread the idea about a world with free mobile internet.
After a long time of roaming and looking endless at the horizon, I finally was so happy to see the Drakkars there. I finally knew I could be part of the great community, where everybody is equal and everybody gets the best possible service.
Finally I became.. a MOBILE VIKING!
(and I am still very proud of that!)

‘Fifi zoekt Wifi’ (Belgacom)
Een hond die blaft wanneer hij een wifi-hotspot passeert. Handig en plezant, tot wanneer Belgacom 300.000 hotspots in België installeerde.. Het baasje van Fifi kan maar beter oordoppen bij hem houden!
